Dust Collector Bags – Canvas vs. Plastic

American Fabric Filter Co. offers heavy-duty bottom collection bags for dust collectors in either plastic or canvas. The 6 mil thick polybags, available in rolls of 50, are stocked in 2 standard sizes (21" D x 50" L; 24.5" D x 72" L) to fit most units. These disposable bags are strong enough to stand up under constant use and contain wood waste from chips to fine wood dust. The clear bag allows you to see when it needs to be emptied or replaced. AFF also offers collector bags sewn of rugged cotton duck. The canvas bags are reusable, making them more economical, and custom sizing guarantees a perfect fit. No matter which type you choose, AFF can provide you with an efficient collector bag for your dust collector.

Catch Cloths Provide a Cleaner Environment

American Fabric Filter Co., Wesley Chapel, FL, manufactures catch cloths of 18 gauge vinyl for installation under conveyors in the food processing and baking indus-tries. Catch cloths prevent errant product from dropping onto other lines or being transferred throughout the plant; they facilitate plant cleanup by confining spillage in one area. AFF offers catch cloths with custom sizing and grommet placement to fit be-neath any conveyor. We can duplicate straights, 45° and 90° turns, S-curves, as well as add dump chutes or funnels for high volume applications.

Increased Durability and Bag Life

American Fabric Filter Co., Wesley Chapel, FL, now uses scrim supported felt exclusively in our continuing effort to improve the quality and life of the filter bags we manufacture. Not only does scrim add strength to the fabric for greater durability, but provides increased support and static conductivity as well. Bags made from fabric with supporting scrim can better withstand abrasive dust and frequent cleaning, extending the life of the bag. Scrim supported felts are available in a variety of weights and finishes (singed, glazed, etc.) to address specific dust types.

Easily Calculate Filter Dimensions

Simply visit the website, enter the CFM of your dust collector, and click the calculate button to find the number of square feet of fabric needed to provide sufficient air-tocloth ratio to achieve filtration down to 1-micron.

Drum Top Dust Collector Bags

Portable Reclaim Sifter Saves Flour, Cuts Costs

American Fabric Filter Co., Wesley Chapel, FL, is proud to introduce our stainless steel portable reclaim sifter for sifting small batches of dry ingredients and reclaiming product normally lost through tailings.  With the rising price of flour this can be an excellent way to cut costs.  This versatile sifter is capable of batch sifting up to 600 pounds an hour and may be operated sitting atop a drum or using the optional adjustable rolling base for easy relocation around the plant.  The all stainless steel construction and waterproof motor make cleaning simple.  A custom RCN output dust chute allows quick changes between collection containers.

Faster CS-1 Sifter Deck Repair & Rebuild Service

Sifter Parts & Service, Inc., Wesley Chapel, FL, has expanded its shop and installed an additional compressed air line dedicated solely to the repair and rebuilding of CS-1 sifter decks. This increases our rebuild and repair capability, allowing us to process twice the number of decks and providing a much faster turn around time for our CS-1 sifter customers.
