LIQUID FILTRATION SPECIALISTS

OVERVIEW

AFF provides a complete range of custom manufactured liquid filter bags for all standard and
most custom vessels in plain or singed felts from .5 to 100 micron and in mesh from 5 to 800
micron.

Construction options include plastic, carbon, stainless, and pvc-coated steel rings; handles,
draw strings, and multi-layer covers (muslin or mesh).
All filters are custom manufactured to match your specifications.

FILTER MEDIA OPTIONS

FELT: This versatile needle-punched fiber construction provides true depth filtration in a low
cost form. It is dense yet highly permeable to allow greater dirt holding capacity at increased
flow rates.

MULTIFILAMENT MESH: This disposable mesh material is constructed of many tiny
filament yarns twisted together and then woven or knit in a precise manner.

MONOFILAMENT MESH: This mesh material is constructed of single filament yarns woven in a precise manner. Slightly higher in price, this offers both high strength, as well as durability for reuse.

FINISH OPTIONS
(FELT ONLY)

PLAIN: Medium is provided without surface treatment.

SINGED: Outer surface of medium is heated under controlled temperatures to thermally lock
fibers and reduce the possibility of fiber migration.

COVERED: A spun-bonded cover is used to encase the outer surface.
